The charger is 110 / 240 volt, 50 / 60 Hz. It is a dual voltage 3 step charger designed to charge GEL batteries. When the charging process is completed the charger will go into a sleep mode. If the battery charge should drop, the charger will automatically turn back on and start charging to keep the battery at full charge. This is called the balancing charge.
